Browse Madison County 72-Hour Releases

A Madison County 72 hour release list is not published as a dedicated county feed. The practical three-day view uses the official arrest-date search, which filters bookings by arrest date and mixes current inmates with records marked RELEASED. This wider range can help with weekend or multi-day catch-up, but it is not a list of everyone released in the last 72 hours. A person booked before the chosen range may be omitted even if release occurred during it. Confirm exact timing, reason, and destination through the sheriff release record, court file, or receiving agency.

Madison County Three-Day Arrest Range

Madison County's honest substitute for a 72-hour release feed is Inmates by Arrest Date. Set the From and To controls to the three relevant booking dates, then inspect each status. The result is a booking cohort, not a release cohort.

This view is broader than the 24 Hours Arrests page and useful after a weekend. It can still include people released before the period and people who remain booked, while omitting a person whose older booking ended within the period. It gives no release timestamp, reason, or movement destination.

Vendor viewWhat it includesWhat it cannot prove
Current InmatesBookings still active on the county rosterWhere a removed person went
24 Hours ArrestsPeople booked in the preceding 24-hour cohort, including some marked releasedAll people released during the period
Arrest-date searchCurrent and released records filtered by arrest dateA release-date range

Meaning of the flag. RELEASED means the county booking is no longer active in that vendor record. It does not necessarily mean release into the community.

Check Madison County Releases Over 72 Hours

Choose dates deliberately. A Monday check may use Friday through Sunday booking dates to catch people who entered the jail across the weekend, but it remains a booking search.

  1. Open Inmates by Arrest Date and enter the From and To dates for the three-day booking window.
  2. Use the optional name filter when looking for one person, then compare full name, arresting agency, booking date, and charges.
  3. Separate records marked RELEASED from those marked CURRENTLY BOOKED. Do not count every result as a release.
  4. Search an earlier arrest range if the person's booking began before the selected three days.
  5. Check Current Inmates for present county custody and the 24 Hours Arrests view for the narrower same-day booking cohort.
  6. Request the booking-out sheet and movement history for actual release time, reason, authorization, and destination.
  7. If a transfer appears, continue with the named county, TDCJ, BOP, ICE, or other receiving authority.

This method catches more booking dates than the same-day view but cannot convert arrest dates into release dates. A court file may explain the authority; the jail record documents the completed operational event.

Fields in Madison County Release Results

Observed InteropWeb records include a photo; name; sex; race; height; weight; hair and eye color; arrest date; arrest time; arresting agency; address; age; booking date and time; charge; bond amount and type; warrant or case number; and status. Those fields identify a booking, not a complete release record.

Important missing fields are the actual release date and time, release type or disposition, authorizing order, and transfer destination. Ask the sheriff for those items rather than calculating a release time from the last portal view. The absence of a destination is especially important when charge text mentions a parole warrant, blue warrant, out-of-county warrant, or another hold.

The official date-range screen below demonstrates the From and To controls and a released result. Its design reinforces that arrest date, rather than release time, drives the search.

Madison County arrest-date controls with a released result

The status is useful evidence that a booking closed, while the chosen dates describe when the arrest occurred.

Weekend Timing and Madison County Updates

A three-day range is useful after weekends and holidays because it reduces the need to run separate daily booking searches. It does not establish that entries appear without processing lag. InteropWeb publishes no refresh promise, ingestion timestamp, or service level. For a time-sensitive question, call Madison County Jail at 936-348-2755 and later obtain the written record.

The public portal also gives no retention period. Released records can persist in the arrest-date search, but that does not establish how far back it is complete. Texas Local Schedule PS supplies a records fallback: the county jail register under PS4200-06 is permanent and includes at least the name, gender, intake number, confinement reason, and release or transfer date. Booking-in/out forms and commitment, transfer, and release orders under PS4200-10 carry a minimum of release or transfer plus two years.

Portal disappearance therefore does not mean the government record vanished. Ask first for the permanent jail-register entry, then any still-retained booking and release packet.

Request a Madison County Release Record

The sheriff page links a one-page Open Records Request. It asks for the request date, requester contact information, agency case number, description, signature, and date. The form says information is not given by telephone and completed results are held for ten business days after notice.

Request existing records with narrow language: the booking-in and booking-out sheet, actual release date and time, release disposition or transfer destination, release authorization held by the jail, custody movement history, and booking photograph, tied to the person's name, approximate booking date, and known number. Ask for reasonably segregable nonconfidential portions if part is withheld.

The form lists 2005 E. Main Street, while the current sheriff page identifies 3301 E. Main as the Sheriff's Office and 2005 E. Main as the jail. Call 936-348-2755 to confirm current submission routing. No fixed local fee was located; ask for an itemized estimate and electronic native-format records where practical. Government Code Chapter 552 requires prompt production, not an automatic ten-business-day wait.

No Madison County 72-Hour Feed

Because no dedicated three-day release feed exists, a no-result requires a wider fallback than simply rerunning the same dates. Search an earlier arrest range, check the current roster, and use the Jail Releases: 24 Hours page for the narrower recent-booking cohort. Then request the sheriff's release and movement record.

Texas IVSS-Counties can provide custody-event alerts for participating county data, but reviewed static sources did not conclusively establish Madison County's live feed status. Check the portal or call 866-268-8959. It is a notification service, not an official release register. TDCJ prison notifications use TDCJ Victim Services separately.

Can Madison County 72-Hour Data Be Wrong?

The date-range tool can return RELEASED records, but research also observed an impossible arrest year of 2998 in live InteropWeb data. That nonidentifying example makes the quality risk concrete. Compare arrest dates with the sheriff record and court case before treating the display as authoritative.

The date controls create another easy error: a three-day arrest range can be described inaccurately as a three-day release range. Preserve the distinction when recording a result. No official mobile release feature was verified; the Madison County app description does not document inmate, release, or mugshot functions.

Release or Transfer From Madison County Jail

A county booking may end through bond, court-ordered release, time served, another terminating event, or transfer. A RELEASED flag covers the end of the county booking but does not distinguish those paths. Ask for release disposition, movement destination, and the authorizing record.

For TDCJ, use the state search while the person remains in custody and Parole Division records after release. For an ICE detainer, county release can mean entry into federal immigration custody; ODLS covers current custody and releases from ICE custody within the preceding 60 days, subject to limitations. A transfer to another county requires that county's roster or records office. Present custody is a separate question from whether the Madison booking closed.

Match Madison County Court Records

The County Clerk is the practical starting point for county-level misdemeanor matters, while the District Clerk supports felony cases in the 12th and 278th Judicial District Courts. Ask for the docket sheet, charging instrument, bond order or return, judgment, disposition, sentence, jail-credit notation, dismissal, warrant event, or supervision order that fits the case.

Those documents can explain authority but may omit the operational booking-out time. Pair them with the sheriff release sheet. Madison County Court posts calendars and docket documents, but they are snapshots rather than a comprehensive criminal name index. The County Clerk's “Online Search” link is for land records and should not be used as a criminal-record search.

When a Madison County Release Is Missing

Try spelling variants and the arrest-date view, then confirm that Madison County Jail was actually the last custodian. A municipal arresting-agency label such as Madisonville Police Department identifies who made the arrest; it does not mean the police department ran a separate long-term jail or completed release.

For older records, request the jail-register entry and booking/release packet. A lawful sealing or expunction can also affect public visibility. Do not reconstruct or republish sealed or expunged material. If records conflict, provide the sheriff with the authoritative court or release document in a written correction request; Madison County publishes no dedicated correction form.

The Madison County released inmate search covers the broader evidence ladder, and Jail Releases: 72 Hours explains how a three-day arrest range differs from a release feed.
